Sep 18, 2017 · DDR4 RAM not being recognized by Windows 10, but recognized in BIOS The Motherboard is an MSI x299 Raider with an i7-7800x 6-Core CPU. I installed the memory into slots A1, B1, C1 & D1 as instructed by a message upon boot up that for optimal results, use those slots. The BIOS detects slots A1,B1, C1 & D1 with 8192MB in each. What I have to do, is insert one stick in slot 2, go into Bios and downclock it to 2133MHz, then I can add the second stick into slot 4. Funny thing is, after I asked, why there isn't any info about that on the official MSI page, my reseller told they hide this info on purpose ...
